They are the world's oldest continually manufacturing ink company!

Beautiful writing inks in 30 different colors! J. Herbin water based fountain pen inks are pH neutral and lightfast. Each bottle is elegantly labeled and has an integrated pen rest. They are known as "D" bottle pen inks. The "D" refers to the old French unit of measure "la Demi Courtine". 30 ml bottle. $9.00 each

J. Herbin Authentic Ink

Encre Authentique is also called Lawyers' Ink. This black ink was used by French notaries to write official acts. It contains Campeche wood tannin ensuring exceptional preservation. Lettering done with this ink is legible for 300 years. Water base, best suited for dip pens, quills and glass pens. Not for use in fountain pens. 30ml. bottle.

J. Herbin Opaque Metallic Inks

J. Herbin's line of pigmented opaque metallic inks are exceptionally rich. Ornamental inks are best suited for dip pens and glass pens. Not suitable for fountain pens. High pigment content contains actual metallic pigments for a jewel tone affect. 30 ml bottle.

NOTE: Bottle needs to be shaken vigorously and frequently while using, metallic pigments sink to the bottom of the bottle quickly.

J. Herbin Opaque White Ink

Pigmented, opaque white ink is perfect for writing on dark colored papers and great for scrapbooking. This ink is formulated for dip pens and glass pens and especially for broad nibs. Not suitable for fountain pens. 30 ml bottle.

NOTE: White ink needs to be shaken vigorously and frequently while using, pigments sink to the bottom of the bottle quickly.

J. Herbin Invisible Ink!

Perfect for writing secret cryptic messages! Invisible ink turns blue on white paper when held under a light bulb or other heat source. Writing disappears as the paper cools. Looks pink in the bottle, but writes clear. This ink is best suited for dip pens, glass pens and quill pens. Not suitable for fountain pens. 30 ml bottle.
