August 15, 2008 - We have some updated information for you on the new ink colors noted as "coming soon" below. According to Diamine in UK, the inks will all be shipped to our US Distributor the week of August 18th via ship. Arrival usually takes about 4 weeks, plus time to clear customs. Our new ETA on the upcoming Diamine colors is mid-late September. Thanks for your patience!

Diamine Fine Old English Inks

Diamine dates to 1864 when the company was founded by
T. Webster and Co. in London. Since 1925 they have been located in Liverpool and the company name was changed to Diamine in 1964. Diamine has made private labeled inks for other ink companies including Yard-o-Led for many years and introduced the Diamine line under their own name in the US market in 2003. Safe for all fountain pens.

Diamine Ink

Diamine Writing Ink is a water based non waterproof ink. It is perfect for fountain pens and absolutely ideal as a calligraphy starter ink. Colors can be diluted or blended to give a multitude of effects.

Diamine Registrar's Ink

Diamine Registrar's Ink is permanent and waterproof archival quality ink as used by Registrars and the Clergy for signing official documents in England. Safe for fountain pens, however Registrar's Blue contains iron gall, we suggest you flush your pen frequently when using this ink. Color is a deep blue-black.
