Fairchild Dip Pen - Mother of Pearl tapered dip pen marked Fairchild Mane No. E on the very beautifully engraved gold filled ferrule. Fairchild is known for their high quality work, this pen is not as elaborate as some I've seen, but the detail to the engraving is evident. Unfortunately the original Fairchild nib is no longer, and this dip pen has a solid gold A Norton & Son New York No. 3 dip pen nib - nothing shabby, Norton made excellent dip pen nibs. It's a "wet noodle" nib! Barely touching it to paper expands the tines, super flexible point. Measures 6 inches long, very good condition.

Victorian Dip Pen/Pencil Combos

DIPJ287	Sterling Silver "push" dip pen and pencil combination. Pushing the far end of taper with finial exposes the pencil which is in working order, pulling the end back out retracts pencil inside case. Pushing second section extends the dip pen and pulling it retracts the dip pen into the case. Measures 6.5 inches long. Elegant script monogram: FEC. Marked: D.R.G.M. ANG Sterling Very good condition	$325
VIC96	Combination Dip Pen and Pencil - Dual sliders extend dip pen on one end, a pencil on opposite end. Made of bone. Measures 4 inches closed and 6 inches with both ends extended. Pencil end uses VS 1.5mm dia leads. Very unusual design and in very good condition.	$125
VIC101	Mordan, England - 9ct solid gold combination dip pen and pencil, dual slide mechanism, smooth finish, Measures 3 7/8 inches long closed and 4.75 inches fully extended. One shallow ding on side just below the slider buttons in closed position. Pencil uses VS 1.5mm diameter leads. Nib not included. With the exception of the ding noted above, very good condition.	$175

VIC92	Victorian wood bellows pencils - looks just like the old bellows used to fan the fire, however this one does not bellow! Measures 2 inches long, twist to extend and retract VS 1.5mm diameter leads. Small hole at top to put a chain through.	$75
VIC97	Sterling Silver Dropper Pencil - Faceted sterling pencil's center section is a perpetual calendar, the numbers and letters for days of the week are all enameled in royal blue. Pushing the button at top of pencil drops the pencil, pushing the button again when pencil is inverted drops the pencil back into the barrel. Measures 2.5 inches long. Very good condition.	$160
VIC98	Three Color Slider Pencil - Sterling Silver pencil with triple sliders for using 3 different colors of VS 1.5mm dia lead. The slider buttons are a deep purple jewel. Faceted barrel with ring. Measures 2.5 inches closed and 3.25 inches fully extended. Very good condition.	$200
VIC99	This very small gold filled Victorian pencil has a fixed ring at end and measures just 1.5 inches long. Smooth finish shows no dings or dents. Twist case to extend and retract leads. Uses VS 1.5mm dia leads. Very good condition.	$40
VIC106	Victorian Telescoping Pencil - Pointer. This is one of my favorite Victorian era pieces, creativity at it's very best! Probably nickel plated finish, it's bright shining silver colored. Cable twist case, large ring at the end. Pencil at the other end uses 2.0mm dia leads. It's big when closed, but even bigger extended! Closed: 7 inches and about a half inch diameter. Fully extended it pulls out and out and out some more to a full 24 inches, yes two full feet long! It's in very nice condition and definitely qualifies as an unusual dual duty writing instrument.	$100
VIC108	Fluted pencil case in silver plate, ringtop, ferrule is marked Made in England and W Lead. Twist to extend and retract 1.9mm diameter leads. Measures 3 5/8 inches long. Shows some light plating wear.	$25
VIC112	Victorian fluted propelling pencil with ringtop, silver plated, measures 3.5 inches long. Twist to propel 2.6mm marking style lead. Marked on ferrule "England W Lead". Very light pitting in deep recesses on fluting. No dings or dents.	$25
VIC113	Victorian propelling pencil with ringtop, silver plated, measures 3 3/8 inches long. Twist to propel 2.0mm diameter leads. Beautiful engraved pattern on case, nice beaded detailing at ferrule and top of pencil. Plating wear to just the top of pencil where ringtop is, small ding near ferrule end.	$25
VIC122	AW Faber (marked AWF) Cedar Pencil ringtop case, chrome plated barleycorn finish. Measures 2.5 inches. Slider ring extends and retracts woodcase cedar pencil inside. Initials hand engraved at top: WAC in a series of little dots. Medallion attached, side one reads: Victory 1905 & ship embossed, side two reads: From B.F.S.S. Nelson Centenary Containing Victory Copper E.R. VII.	$25
