CON68 Conklin 3NL Fountain Pen, ca. 1920s, black chased hard rubber, gold filled crescent filler and half inch wide cap band. Band is engraved in beautiful script: NJT. Crescent Filler is marked Crescent Filler Trademark. Fills only from a bottle. Measures 5.5 inches long. Clipless, there never was a clip on this pen. Conklin No. 3 Toledo solid 14KT gold nib, Flexible nib makes a nice fine – broad stroke. There is a hairline crack on the barrel running from the crescent about 0.75 inches. At this time, it is stable, the pen has been re-saced and is writing beautifully.
