PK2514  Parker Window-Counter Display for Parker Quink Ink. Ca. 1940s. Marked in bottom left corner: Display No. 6704-R - Made in USA. The attached large cardboard easel on the back side has never been used. Measures 14 x 21 inches. Large illustration on top half of a desk top with Parker Quink Permanent Blue-Black, a Parker Vacumatic fountain pen, smoking pipe and a framed photograph. Even though there is no mention of World War II, all of the advertising lines Parker used for this Display Sign point to that era and were frequently used in their magazine advertising in the 1940s; "protects your pen with solv-x, prevents breakdown of metal and rubber, keeps pens out of the repair shop" Very minor "bumps" on each corner, this sign has survived the past 80 or so years in amazingly excellent condition.
